Tours to Transnistria
from Chisinau every weekend
Rybnitsa is the largest industrial center in the north of Transnistria. It has a rich history, an active metallurgical giant, the largest Orthodox cathedral in the region, and the picturesque vineyard terraces of the neighboring village of Stroentsy.
One-day excursions let you see St. Michael's Cathedral, stroll through Central Park with its fountains, and optionally take a tour of the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant.
For a deeper exploration of the district, we recommend a two‑day route covering Rybnitsa and the village of Stroentsy — its vineyard terraces, the Tower of Winds and the old water mill.
Our local guides will tell you about the history of this industrial town, take you to the plant and the churches, and introduce you to the nature and villages of the Rybnitsa district.
Rybnitsa is suitable for educational and industrial tourism, visiting Orthodox shrines, and relaxing in nature in the surrounding villages.
